BergseeCamp is a small, family-friendly and nature-oriented campsite located in the heart of the Solling-Vogler Nature Reserve. In addition to beautiful hiking trails around the idyllic mountain lake, the surrounding area of BergseeCamp offers various interesting destinations for young and old alike, such as museums, wildlife parks, spas, restaurants, and farmers markets. We look forward to your visit!

The Site

BergseeCamp offers everything that nature lovers need for a relaxing stay: toilets and hot showers, clean (and delicious) drinking water, washing up areas, a public washing machine, and gray water disposal points. There’s even Wi-Fi available (in selected areas).

The Team

Since 2019, the Giesecke family has been living at Bergsee for the second and third generations, following in the footsteps of Grandpa Friedrich Giesecke, who founded and ran the campsite from the 1960s until the 2010s

Events & Calendar

BergseeCamp regularly hosts seminars, concerts, and small festivals. The site can also be rented (in whole or in part) for private events such as birthdays or weddings.
